Anjuna Beach,Goa
The village of Anjuna in north Goa is a five square mile enclosure overlooking the Arabian Sea and with a hill in the background. It is one of the most popular beaches in Goa situated 8 km west of Mapusa and 18 km from the capital Panaji. It has an unusual arrangement of red laterite rocks, spread across the white sands, known as the Jewel of Anjuna or Ozran. Dona Paula Beach,Goa
The beach is named after Dona Paula de Menzes, daughter of a viceroy (in colonial India), who threw herself off the cliff, when refused permission to marry a local fisherman, Gaspar Dias.
It is located 7km to the west of Panaji, Goa and besides catering importance in the field of entertainment the place is highly looked at by adventure lovers.
